No text in the body of the topick but i suppose the subject says it all.
I don't like it but i admire any people who can sing it because it's very difficult. But it's not my type.

I can't say I love it, but I appreciate opera and would love to learn some, though I wouldn't learn any in languages I'm not interested in. I know that's kind of biased, but if one wasn't interested in Italian, Spanish, or German, they wouldn't like to be up there singing those operas, right. I'm interested in those three and to see if there are operas in other languages, but not French, I don't like French that much.

as a professional classical musician, i'dsay opera is my bread and butter. As a piano accompanist, I work with lots of opera singers.
There are certain composers that i could listen to for hours such as Handel and mozart but I couldn't stick Wagner for any length of time. Also, it's handy to have a grip on the plot which, sometimes, can be the offputting elemen to opera.

I like Italian Opra. I also like Handel and Mozart. I have just bought a cd of Voices in the Valey. It is male welsh singers.
